Capital Campaign Booklet Brochure
For The Marlborough Public Library
The Marlborough Public Library Foundation launched a capital campaign for the enlargement of the library. They needed a brochure to present the case for renovation to potential funders.
Focus on community
mhcDesign worked with the capital campaign committee and a professional copywriter to design the brochure. The team wanted the brochure to reflect the practical nature of the city and to emphasize the citizens' strong interest in the library building's history. They also wanted it to reflect the library's position as beloved community center and resource for all types of learning.
The library had many photos of visitors using the library and we used as many as we could throughout the brochure. No stock photos were used at all. This gave the brochure an authentic, community feel. It is a booklet that is a fundraising tool, but will be kept as a memento of this piece of the library's history.
